Inspired by the vibrant flavors and cultures of the region, Brooklyn Beso is the brainchild of Caribbean-American owners Edwin and Donna Drakes, who embarked on their first venture into the restaurant industry in 2011.

Driven by a desire to fill a gap in the neighborhood's dining scene, Edwin and Donna set out to create a relaxed eatery that would cater to the young and lively crowd of Bedford-Stuyvesant. What emerged was Brooklyn Beso—a vibrant and welcoming space where friends and families can come together to share delicious food and good times.
